Today is looking to be a fantastic day in Southwest Montana with a high of 68 degrees and sunny it cant get much better! We have actually seen the rivers drop in flows following this rain and cold weather, The Big Hole in Melrose has dropped from 4300 cfs to approximately 3700 cfs and is fishing so good as of now, you cant miss out! Hopefully the salmon flies should be here within the next 72 hours! The Beaver head on the other hand is coming out of the Dam at 675 cfs and is fishing well with nymphs. The ruby is still running high out of the Dam at 560 cfs but it is coming down and fish are definitely being caught. Make sure you practice casting your rod before you come out for your trip, it will help you to catch more fish!!

Cheers
