We couldn't have asked for a better day here in South West Montana! The sun is shining with a little breeze and the fish are HUNGRY. The Ruby is flowing high at 168 cfs but the Big Hole is at a perfect 1700 cfs. The Beav has gained a little water and is coming out of the dam at 360 cfs (a gain of about 120 cfs from yesterday). We are slowly and I mean very slowly seeing the effects of run off as the daily temps warm up. We are still fishing the same stuff, under bobbers mostly but some good dry fly reports have been coming in... Just waiting on the caddis and march browns to start up then its GAME ON! It looks like its a perfect day in Twin Bridges to catch some trout! The Big Hole is at a perfect 1930 cfs and the Beav in town is still a little high at about 360 cfs. The Ruby is at about 110 cfs from yesterday when it was at 54 cfs, it should be fishing really well in about 4-5 days as long as this weather holds!! I have been seeing some Baetis on cloudy days and BWOs on the sunnier days, We are still waiting for the Caddis to pop but it should be soon!! We are still fishing worms and stones on the Big Hole, and sow bugs/scuds are the ticket on the Beav. Make sure to grab a stream thermometer when you head out, knowing the water temp can lead you right to the trout! Cheers!

The wind has died down here in Town, but fishing reports from the guides were awesome after yesterdays float, we are still fishing worms and stones mostly, midges if you want to get fancy. All of our rivers are fishing great and flows are looking awesome as well! Weather is looking cold for today unfortunately, but if you layer up well you shouldn't have a problem. make sure to wet your knots! Cheers!

Well, we got some snow today in Twin Bridges, and the wind is blowing a little hard. If you're gonna go fishing don't get bummed out, there are definitely places where the wind isn't as strong! All the Guides came back with pretty good reports last night and seemed very optimistic about fishing today! The The Big Hole is dropping steadily, flowing at about 3000 cfs at glen but has drastically dropped in temperature as well(water temp as of 08:00 was 33 degrees) but should warm up as the days go by. Clark C anyon reservoir is 100% full, but the Beav is still coming out of the dam at 24o cfs and ruby reservoir is about 99% full but the Ruby is still flowing at about 54 cfs. The weather cant get much better than it is today! We are seeing more bugs com off with this sun warming up the water. The rivers haven't  changed much, but we are starting to see runoff make its appearance following this warm weather! fish are eating dries when the water has a good amount of visibility, the Big Hole and Beav are still a little off color, but the Ruby is clear as glass! Don't forget a couple of your favorite brews before you head out! Cheers

The Big Hole got a little water last night that bumped it to 3700 cfs but the Beaver head in town here is at 480 cfs and a little dirty, but they are still eating nymphs. The Ruby is still in perfect condition but is predicted to get overflow from the reservoir on may 10th! make sure you're fishing deep enough! Cheers
